Dental exams are a must to detect cavities and gum diseases. These dental diseases are the most common diseases affecting people besides the common cold.
Examinations
Dr. Rose will do a complete examination to collect information that will help in diagnosing any dental disease present.
Your exam will include
- Updated health history
- Appropriate x-rays
- Bitewings (every 12 months) to see cavities between teeth and diagnose bone loss.
- Panorex (every 3 years) to see cysts, tumors, sinus abnormalities, bone loss and wisdom teeth.
- Gum probing (measurements) to detect bone deficiencies around teeth.
- Oral Cancer Screening - Only at your dental exam will your mouth get attention that would otherwise go unnoticed.
- Tooth Analysis to detect decay, tooth wear or misalignment.
Dr. Rose recommends a minimum of two dental examinations a year. Some Patients may require more frequent exams.
